TRENTON, NJ (April 5, 2004) - The Trenton Titans today confirmed that Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations, Bill Armstrong, has announced his intention not to return for the 2004-05 season.

"We thank Bill for his service over the last two years. We wish him the best of luck with his future endeavors, both personally and professionally," said Trenton Titans Owner and CEO, Geoffrey Berman.

Hired in July of 2002, Armstrong compiled a 77-52-17 record with the Titans over two seasons, including a trip to the Kelly Cup playoffs last year. Prior to coming to Trenton, Armstrong spent two years each as an assistant coach and a head coach for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League.

"The number one priority for the Titans now is to hire the right coach that can lead this team to the Kelly Cup," Berman continued. "I intend to provide the necessary resources to hire the best available person for the job. Rich Lisk and I will begin that process immediately. We will not be commenting on the selection process until it is completed."
