BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads ended its regular season action on the road this past week, and now turns its focus towards the first round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs. Idaho, third seed in the Pacific Division, will go head-to-head with its second seed rival Las Vegas Wranglers. The Wranglers have secured home ice advantage and Games One and Two will be played at Orleans Arena beginning Tuesday (April 6th) night. Game Three will be played at home at the Bank of America Centre on Saturday, April 10th.

Idaho will announce its playoff roster later today.

All Kelly Cup Playoffs series except the final series will be a best of five. The Kelly Cup finals are a best of seven series.

And, on game nights Britt will bring fans play-by-play live action for all Kelly Cup Playoff games. PLAYOFF TICKETS:
Tickets for Game Three at the Bank of America Centre are currently on sale. Ticket prices range from $12.00 to $29.00 for adults and $9.00 to $19.25 for youth and seniors. HISTORY IN THE MAKING: The Season Opener at the Bank of America Centre on October 17th, 2003 between the Idaho Steelheads and Las Vegas Wranglers marked the first ECHL game for both (LV over IDH 5-3). The Steelheads are entering into their 7th season since the team's inception in 1997 (all 6 seasons had been played in the West Coast Hockey League, which was absorbed by the ECHL in 2003-04). Now, Idaho and Las Vegas will embark in each teams' first ECHL playoff game against each other.

STEELHEADS ECHL FIRSTS: Jan Kopecky scored Idaho's first goal in the ECHL in the Season Home Opener on 10/17 2003. The goal came at 11:04 of the second period, assisted by Darrell Hay and Chris Marinucci. ¡ÜFormer Steelhead Jonathan Shockey scored the first goal (pp) against Idaho (Dan Ellis in net) on 10/17/2003 at 7:36 of the first period. ¡ÜDan Ellis recorded the first loss in net for Idaho on 10/17/2003, final 5-3. ¡ÜGoaltender Dan Ellis recorded the first shootout win for Idaho on 10/18/2003 against the Las Vegas Wranglers; 4-3 (SO) thwarting all four attempts. ¡ÜForward Chris Gobert tallied Idaho's first shootout goal for the win on 10/18/2003; 4-3 (SO). ¡Ü Netminder Dan Ellis recorded the first win for Idaho with a shootout point on 10/18/2003; 4-3 (SO) that made his record 0-1-1 on the season. ¡ÜGoaltender Blair Allison recorded the first win in regulation time on 10/19/2003, final score 4-1 ¡ÜJeremy Mylymok recorded the first ECHL penalty minutes for Idaho on a tripping call at :28 of the first period in the team's inaugural game, 10/17/2003. ¡ÜWarren Peters scored Idaho's first road goal (his first professional goal) at 5:36 of the game against Las Vegas in the Orleans Arena on 10/24/2003. ¡ÜMiguel Delisle tallied Idaho's first ECHL hat trick on 12/17/03 vs BAK.

AT THE ALL-STAR BREAK: Idaho was 25-11-4, 54 points and leading the second-place Las Vegas Wranglers by one point in the Pacific Division. The team had a winning percentage of .679, with 124 goals for, 104 goals against, and an accumulation of 1,049 penalty minutes. The team's record at home was 15-4-1 and 10-7-2 on the road. Idaho was 7-1-2 in its last ten, and had a one-game win streak.

LARGEST CROWD: The Idaho Steelheads led the ECHL in sellouts this year with ten. In addition, the team welcomed its largest crowd ever - 5,431 - to the Bank of America on February 28th, 2004. The largest crowd prior to that date was 5,403 on January 25th, 2004. In December of 2002, the Steelheads saw its one-millionth fan come through the Bank of America Centre doors since opening in 1997.
