South Carolina Stingrays News Release

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC The South Carolina Stingrays will be wrapping gifts at the Citadel Mall on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 9:00. The Rays finish with a Habitat for Humanity project this afternoon and will be at the mall tomorrow.

"Our on ice schedule has lightened up for a couple of weeks so we want to get the players into the community as much as possible" explained Stingrays Director of Community Relations Mike Bonasia. "It will certainly be a novelty to have your holiday gifts wrapped by a hockey player. I am not sure whether or not quality will be an issue.

Jason Fitzsimmons, Jared Bednar, Peter Armbrust, Matt Desrosiers, Brad Williamson and Dave Seitz will wrap from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Jeff Boulanger, Brent Henley, Mike Jickling, Dean Weasler and Andy Powers will wrap gifts from 7:00 to 9:00pm.

The Stingrays will return to the ice on Friday, when they host the Augusta Lynx at 7:30. Friday's game is Teddy Bear Toss Night for Debbie's Kids.
