Tonight's contest features two of the ECHL's top-10 leaders in scoring, with Florida's Derek Damon (16 pts) tied for fifth and South Carolina's Paul McIlveen (15 pts) tied for seventh ... Stingrays G Josh Johnson stopped a season-high 40 shots last night, but the reigning ECHL Goaltender of the Week saw his three-game win streak snapped in a 4-1 loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators ... South Carolina is tied for the league lead in goals scored (48) ... Florida leads the ECHL in Penalty Killing (89%) ... The Everblades feature the goaltending tandem of Justin Peters (Carolina Hurricanes) and Tyler Plante (Florida Panthers), each chosen in the 2nd round, respectively, of the 2004 and 2005 NHL Entry Drafts ... Florida LW Brad Herauf led the ECHL with 344 penalty minutes in 2005-06.

Stingrays D Grant McNeill played 31 games with the Everblades during the 2005-06 season ... Florida C Jonathan Lehun spent the 2002-03 season with St. Cloud State, where one of his teammates was Stingrays D T.J. McElroy ... South Carolina D Tim Judy and Everblades LW Brad Zancanaro played together with the USHL's Sioux City Explorers in 2000-01 ... Florida C Jarret Lukin was teammates with South Carolina G Davis Parley during the 2002-03 season with Kamloops, and 2007-08 Stingray Tom Maxwell with Medicine Hat in 2004-05 ... Florida's Dan Kronick was teammates with the Stingrays' Josh Johnson at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and McElroy and Andrew Gordon at St. Cloud State ...
