Grizzlies Take Second-Straight Versus Idaho

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies defeated the Idaho Steelheads 3-1 Saturday night at the E-Center.

The Grizzlies scored first 5:36 into the first period with Trevor Smith knocking in a rebound on a Keith Johnson shot.

Utah went up 2-0 with six seconds left to go in the first with Keith Johnson scoring. Olivier Labelle and Andy Sertich added assists.

Utah completed the scoring at 4:44 of the second with Micheal Haley redirecting in a Scott Ford shot.

Despite being outshot 15-1 in the third, the Grizzlies held Idaho to just one power-play goal and held on for the 3-1 win.

Eight Utah players dotted the scoring column for Utah in the game.

Mike Mole (6-3-0-0) stopped 36 of 37 for the victory.

Utah now hits the road for a post-Thanksgiving trip to Central California starting Saturday in Stockton. Face-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

The Grizzlies return home Wednesday, November 28 hosting Stockton at the E-Center.
