Three Pensacola Power Play Goals Splash Sea Wolves On Pink In The Rink Night

BILOXI, MS - The Pensacola Ice Pilots defeated the Mississippi Sea Wolves by a score of 4-3 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on Saturday evening as the team held its' first Pink In The Rink game.
Mississippi got on the board first when Travis Lisabeth picked up the rebound of a shot from Mark Hurtubise and fired it past Ice Pilots goaltender John Daigneau just 1:59 into the first period. Pensacola would tie it up at 3:12 of the first when Mike Sgroi took a pass from Mathieu Roy and beat Morgan Cey to the stick side for a power-play goal. Lance Monych regained the lead for the Sea Wolves with a power-play goal at 5:54 of the first period, redirecting Pat Oliveto's shot from the point past Daigneau. The Ice Pilots evened the score as Pensacola's Mike Tuomi outraced Mike Couch for a bouncing puck and put it past Cey at the 16:27 mark of the first period. Mathieu Roya would give Pensacola the lead on the power-play when his shot from the point beat Morgan Cey with 19:29 remaining.
The Sea Wolves drew even again as Torry Gajda picked up the rebound of a shot from Gio Flamminio right in front of the net, beating Daigneau for his third goal against Pensacolca in two days.
Pensacola got the game winner on the power-play at 3:08 of the third period when Mike Ullrich buried a shot from the top of the circle past Cey with Bill Kinkel in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike conduct.
