Anchorage, Alaska - The Alaska Aces scored six third-period goals to come back and defeat the Fresno Falcons 7-5 on Friday at Sullivan Arena.

Alaska scored the lone goal of the opening period, taking advantage of a 5-on-3 power-play at the 13:33 mark. Brian Miller took a pass from Olivier Filion at the left point, and snuck a shot just over John Ceci's blocker pad on the short side for his second goal of the season.

Fresno's offense exploded in the second period, scoring five times to open a 5-1 lead after 40 minutes of play.

Mike Ramsay tied the score at 3:58 with a power-play goal, gathering in a loose puck on the far post, and pushing it past goaltender Derek Gustafson.

The Falcons took their first lead of the night just 1:25 later. Matt Quinn rushed into the Aces zone and centered in front for Kenny Bernard, who tipped it past Gustafson for his first professional goal.

Tyler Kindle extended the lead to 3-1 with the Falcons second power-play goal of the period at 8:36. Kindle skated to the top of the right-wing circle, and used a screen in front to beat Gustafson with a wrist shot.

An Alaska turnover led to Fresno's fourth goal. Dan Glover intercepted a clearing pass at the blue line, and fed a wide-open Oren Eizenman in the left-wing circle. Eizenman took a quick wrist shot to beat Gustafson for his team-leading fifth goal of the season.

Fresno was not done yet, as Kenny MacAulay notched his first goal as a pro at 13:20. Igor Gongalsky kept the play alive behind the Aces net, and fed MacAulay in front for a quick one-timer.

The Aces got on the board with a power-play goal 1:30 into the third period. Ryan Glenn's shot from the blue line was knocked down, but it rolled right to Matt Robinson on the near post, and he shot it over Ceci's glove to make it 5-2.

Alaska's power-play went back to work and cut the Falcons' lead to two at 7:36. Miller took a long shot from the blue line which eluded Ceci's reach for his second goal of the night.

Kimbi Daniels pulled the Aces within one with Alaska's fourth power-play goal at 8:03. Daniels skated into the slot and beat Ceci with a wrist shot for his fifth goal of the year.

The Aces tallied their fourth third-period goal to tie the score at 16:16 as F.P. Guenette picked up a loose puck at the top of the crease and pushed it past Ceci for his second of the season.

Alaska took the lead back at 17:27 as Bryan Miller recorded his third power-play goal of the night, and the Aces fifth, to make it 6-5.

Daniels capped the Aces comeback with a breakaway goal, his second of the night, at 18:23, to set the final.
