Charlotte is currently riding a four-game point streak (2-0-0-2), while the Stingrays have dropped two straight contests ... South Carolina's Travis Morin currently has a six-game scoring streak (7g, 4a) ... The Stingrays are 4-0 this season when leading after the 1st period ... Charlotte has taken an ECHL-low 190 minutes in penalties this season ... The Checkers will be without the services of forwards Ryan Murphy and Trevor Frischmon, who were recalled to the Hartford Wolf Pack and Syracuse Crunch, respectively, earlier this week ... Through 10 contests this season Charlotte has used 28 players, which ranks second in the ECHL.
The Stingrays take on the Charlotte Checkers tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for season ticket holders and 6 p.m. for the general public. Come start your holiday weekend with the Stingrays!
