
Flames Call For Cracknell

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers announced today that right wing Adam Cracknell has been recalled by the American Hockey League's Quad City Flames. Cracknell played in Quad City tonight against the Iowa Stars.
Cracknell, the Wranglers leading scorer, is second in the ECHL with 11 goals in 12 games. The right wing leads Las Vegas in scoring with 17 points and hi s +6 rating is tied for fifth best on the team. This is the first recall in Cracknell's career.
Cracknell enters his second season of professional hockey after his rookie campaign in Las Vegas. The Victoria, BC native was drafted by the Flames in the ninth round (#279 overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Last season, Cracknell posted eight goals and 14 assists for 22 points in only 31 games. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound right wing missed 41 games after sustaining a serious leg injury. Cracknell scored three goals and added two assists for five points in eight playoff games. In 2005-06, the 22-year old led the WHL's Kootenay Ice in scoring with 93 points in 72 games, placing him second in the overall league scoring race. Cracknell participated in the Calgary Flames NHL training camp and with the AHL's Quad City Flames.
The Wranglers continue their six-game home stand with Teddy Bear Toss Night on Sunday, November 25th at 5:05 pm. Las Vegas fans may throw stuffed animals on the ice for charity after the Wranglers scored their first goal of the night.
