
Wranglers Squash Roadrunners, Win Seventh Straight

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Phoenix Roadrunners 4-1 Tuesday night in front of 3,868 fans at the Orleans Arena. Goalie Daniel Manzato made his home debut, stopping 29 of 30 Phoenix shots in the win. Defenseman Sean Owens scored the game-winning goal late in the first period, as the Wranglers won the team's seventh straight game. Adam Cracknell and Chris Ferraro each had a goal and an assist as the team improved to 11-2-0 on the season. Forward Aki Seitsonen also tallied his first of the year in the win. Captain Peter Ferraro and Jason Kirschuk each had two assists. Las Vegas will host Phoenix on Sunday, November 25th at 5:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
In the first period, Adam Cracknell netted his 11th goal of the season at 7:05 of the opening period. Chris and Peter Ferraro set up the first goal of the night. Defenseman Sean Owens pushed the Wranglers lead to 2-0 at 14:12 with his first of the season.
In the second period, Aki Seitsonen extended the lead to 3-0 at 10:41 with his first goal of the season. Just 15-seconds later, RoadRunners forward Jeff Kyrzakos pulled Phoenix within two goals by scoring his sixth goal of the year.
In the third period, center Chris Ferraro netted his fifth goal of the season for the 4-1 final.
The Wranglers continue their six-game home stand with Teddy Bear Toss Night on Sunday, November 25th at 5:05 pm. Las Vegas fans may throw stuffed animals on the ice for charity after the Wranglers scored their first goal of the night.
