Johnstown, PA - The Chiefs took on the second-highest scoring team in the ECHL on Wednesday night, but held the Columbia Inferno in check en route to a 4-2 victory.

J.D. Corbin teamed up with Rob Drummond to give Johnstown a 1-0 lead at 2:02 of the first. The goal was Drummond's sixth of the season.

Jean Desrochers took a hooking penalty 16 seconds into the second period, but Johnstown turned Columbia's power play into their own advantage by scoring two shorthanded goals. Ryan Garlock slid a back hand shot past Columbia's Todd Ford 1:03 into the second. Drummond scored his second of the night just 29 seconds later.

Drummond's third point came on an assist to Jean Desrochers' power play tally at 8:22 of the third. It was Desrochers' fourth of the year, all of which came on the power play. Randy Rowe also assisted.

Jeff Miles scored both of Columbia's goals in the losing effort.

Andrew Penner made 30 saves on 32 shots, including three breakaways, while Ford stopped 30 of Johnstown's 34 shots. Johnstown went 1-for-5 on the power play while Columbia was 0-for-4.
