
Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Battle Indy Fuel for First Time in Team History Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, celebrating 22 seasons of hockey in the Lowcountry, host the Indianapolis Fuel tonight on Charleston County Environmental Management at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the first-ever meeting between the two teams and the first of three gatherings this season.
Charleston County Environmental Management Patrick Gaul Bobblehead:
The first 1,000 fans to the Coliseum tonight receive a Patrick Gaul collectible bobblehead courtesy of Charleston Country Environmental Management.
Series Breakdown:
The Stingrays and Fuel meet for the first time in history tonight. In November of 2013, the ECHL approved expansion membership of the Fuel and play home games at the newly-renovated Fairgrounds Coliseum on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The two sides will collide again in South Carolina on March 20 and in Indianapolis on March 28.
Milestone:
Tonight marks forward Wayne Simpson's 100th game in a Stingrays uniform.
Picking Up Points:
The Stingrays have picked up standings points in 15 of their last 19 contests (13-4-1-1).

The Stingrays close a three-game in three-day weekend tomorrow, Sunday, January 18 with Frozen Day with the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry at 3:05 p.m. against the Toledo Walleye.
