Stillman Assigned From St. John's Of The AHL

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today that center Cory Stillman has been assigned to the Ice Pilots from the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League. Defenseman Ryan O'Keefe has been activated from the seven day injured reserve list to the active roster, defenseman David Turon has been placed on the seven day injured reserve list and forward Bill Kinkel has been moved to the 30 day injured reserve list from the seven day injured reserve list.

Stillman, who stands 6'2" and weighs 211 pounds, will see his first action of the season tonight for the Ice Pilots vs. Texas at 7:05 p.m. He played in 64 games for Barrie of the OHL last year ! scoring 22 goals, 37 assists for 59 points and picked up 53 penalty minutes.

Stillman also played for Kingston in the OHL from 1999-2003 playing in 219 games scoring 75 goals, 88 assists for 163 points and picked up 152 penalty minutes. He was selected by the New York Islanders in the fourth round and was the 101st player taken overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Stillman is 21 years old from Lindsay, Ontario and shoots left.

O'Keefe has played in 10 games with the Ice Pilots this season picking up one assist and nine penalty minutes. Turon has played in 15 games with the Ice Pilots scoring one goal, four assists for five points and picked up ten penalty minutes. Kinkel has played in five games for the Ice Pilots scoring two goals and picking up 47 penalty minutes.

The Ice Pilots also announced a Home for the Holidays ticket offer for their home games on Tuesday, December 28th vs. Florida and Thursday, December 30th vs. Charlotte at 7:05 p.m. Fans will be able to pur! chase one $13 or $15 ticket to the games on December 28th and December 30th and get one $13 or $15 ticket free. The Ice Pilots will play home to the Texas Wildcatters tonight at 7:05 p.m. It is Toys for Tots Night. Fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to the game to donate to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. The first 1,000 fans will receive a twenty ounce stadium cup from Toys for Tots. Dr. Lloyd K. Ritchie, the Ice Pilots official team dentist, will have the tooth fairy at the game and Hill Kelly Dodge will be giving away t-shirts during the intermission.
