
Choo Choo Chouinard to play in Subway/Ice Pilots Alumni Game

Pensacola, Fla. â The Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today that Martin "Choo Choo" Chouinard will play in the Subway/Ice Pilots Alumni Game on February 26th at 5:05 p.m. The game will precede the Ice Pilots game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m.
Chouinard played in 25 regular season games for the Ice Pilots during the 1997-98 season scoring 7 goals, 18 assists for 25 points and picked up 36 penalty minutes. He helped the Ice Pilots win the 1998 Southern Conference Championship and reach the Kelly Cup finals playing in 19 playoff games scoring 3 goals, 8 assists for 11 points picking up 16 penalty minutes.
Chouinard also played for the Quebec Rafales of the IHL, New Orleans ECHL, San Angelo WPHL and played junior hockey for Granby and Verdun in the QMJHL. He is 28 years old and is currently playing in the QSPHL.
The Ice Pilots will also induct a couple of players for the first time onto the Subway Hall of Fame Banner that will be announced during the intermission of the Ice Pilots game vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. The Subway Hall of Fame voting is currently underway at www.icepilots.com. to choose your favorite Ice Pilot.
Chouinard joins Scott Malone, Scott LaGrand, Shane Calder, Chad Quenneville, Kelly Hultgren and Andrew Rodgers who will play in the Subway Alumni game along with the Jr. Ice Pilots and Senior League members participating.
The Ice Pilots will play home to the Texas Wildcatters tonight at 7:05 p.m. It is Toys for Tots Night. Fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to the game to donate to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign. The first 1,000 fans will receive a twenty ounce stadium cup from Toys for Tots. Dr. Lloyd K. Ritchie, the Ice Pilots official team dentist, will have the tooth fairy at the game and Hill Kelly Dodge will be giving away t-shirts during the intermission.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com.
