WILKES-BARRE, PA - Penguins fans will be able to see the most treasured trophy in the hockey world this Wednesday night, as the Stanley Cup will make a return appearance at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza.
The Stanley Cup will be on display prior to and during the St. Patrick's Day contest between the Penguins and Norfolk Admirals, which gets under way at 7:05pm.
Due to time constraints, individual photos with the Stanley Cup WILL NOT be available.
"We have the Cup for a very short amount of time, and we want to give as many fans as possible the chance to see this piece of hockey history," said Penguins CEO Jeff Barrett. "We believe the setup we have for the evening gives everyone an opportunity to catch a glimpse of the most famous trophy in North American sports."
The Stanley Cup will be on display at the following places and times throughout the evening:
4:00pm-6:45pm Outside of the Mohegan Sun Arena - East Gate
7:00pm-7:20pm Inside of Mohegan Sun Arena - Behind Section 101 on the Concourse
1st Intermission Center Ice
2nd Period-2nd Intermission Inside of Mohegan Sun Arena - Behind Section 101 on the Concourse
3rd period-10:00pm Outside of the Mohegan Sun Arena - East Gate
Tickets for all Penguins home games are on sale now, and available through the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza box office, all TicketMaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at 800-745-3000.
