
Canadiens Assign Ben Maxwell To Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced today that forward Ben Maxwell has been assigned from Montreal to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Maxwell, 21, has earned 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) and 20 penalty minutes in 55 games with the Bulldogs this season. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound centre has also played in 12 games with the Canadiens in 2009-2010 but was held pointless while serving six penalty minutes. The native of North Vancouver, British Columbia was drafted in the 2nd round, 49th overall by Montreal in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
The Bulldogs will look to extend their nine-game winning streak when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Copps Coliseum.
