Manitoba Moose News Release

True North Sports and Entertainment and the Manitoba Moose Hockey Club teamed up with Canadian Blood Services to stage the "Great Save" Blood Donor Clinic on Friday, March 12th - the largest mobile blood donor clinic in Manitoba history.

Thanks to the enormous response from Winnipeggers, the 477 units of blood that were donated set a Canadian Blood Services National record for the most units donated in a single day, beating out the previous record held by Toronto with 418.

True North Sports and Entertainment, the Manitoba Moose, and Canadian Blood Services would like to thank all Winnipeggers who came out and helped to not only set this new standard, but also help save so many lives in Manitoba.
