Wolf Pack Announce "Clear Day" Playoff Roster

HARTFORD, March 12, 2010: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today the team's 22-player "Clear Day" playoff list.

Per AHL by-laws, only players on this roster are eligible to see action for the Wolf Pack for the remainder of the AHL regular season and the 2010 Calder Cup playoffs, unless the team faces emergency conditions as a result of recalls, injuries or suspensions.

Signed Junior players, or players who join the team on amateur tryout agreements after their Junior or college seasons are complete, are also allowed to suit up for AHL teams during this period, regardless of whether or not emergency conditions exist.

Following is the Wolf Pack's Clear Day list:

Goal (2): Chad Johnson, Matt Zaba

Defense (8): Anders Eriksson, Ilkka Heikkinen, Brent Henley, Jared Nightingale, Corey Potter, Bobby Sanguinetti, Michael Sauer, Nigel Williams

Forwards (12): Donald Brashear, Dane Byers, Paul Crowder, Brodie Dupont, Ryan Garlock, Evgeny Grachev, Mike Hoffman, Corey Locke, Kris Newbury, P.A. Parenteau, Justin Soryal, Dale Weise

The Wolf Pack are back in action tonight, visiting the Springfield Falcons for a 7:30 game (WTIC HD-2, www.hartfordwolfpack.com, www.wtic.com ). The Wolf Pack's next home game is tomorrow night, Saturday, March 13, as they host the Lowell Devils at 7:00 at the XL Center. The Pack will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day that evening, with the Mighty Ploughboys performing live and $3 green drafts and snacks in the XL Center Atrium.
