Sound Tigers Agree to Terms with Three Players on AHL Contracts

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (February 24, 2012) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that the club has agreed to terms on one-way, American Hockey League contracts with forwards Scott Howes and Kael Mouillierat and defenseman Jon Landry.
Howes, 24, joined the Sound Tigers on Nov. 20, 2011 on a professional tryout contract (PTO), after appearing in six games to start the season with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL. The Toronto, ON native has posted 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 32 games with the Sound Tigers this season.
Mouillierat, 24, came to Bridgeport after starting the 2011-12 campaign with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL. The 6'0, 200-pound forward averaged a point per game (27 points in 27 games) with Idaho, and has posted 15 points (six goals, nine assists) in 25 games with the Sound Tigers, including a four-assist performance in an 8-1 win over Springfield on Feb. 11, 2012.
Landry, 28, earned a PTO with the Sound Tigers on Jan. 12, 2012, after posting 30 points in 35 games from the blue line with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL. The Montreal, PQ native has posted 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in 14 games with the Sound Tigers, as well as the game-winning shootout tally in a 2-1 win over Hershey on Feb. 19, 2012.
