PEORIA, Ill. (February 24, 2012) - San Antonio Rampage goaltender Dov Grumet-Morris turned aside 35 of the 36 shots he faced, including 21 in the second period, to lead the Rampage to a 2-1 victory over the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena on Friday night.

San Antonio scored the game's first goal 15:28 into the first period. Forward Greg Rallo, a Gurnee, IL native, found a loose puck in the crease and lifted it past Peoria backstop Ben Bishop to hand the Rampage a 1-0 advantage. Defenseman Roman Derlyuk and center James Wright tallied the assists on Rallo's 14th marker of the season. Rallo notched his 11th point in his last 12 games with the goal.

The Rampage extended their lead to 2-0 at 17:51 of the third period. Wright retrieved a dump-in and fed center Scott Timmins, who beat Bishop with his ninth goal of the year to put San Antonio ahead by two.

Peoria left wing Derek Nesbitt answered for the Rivermen 18 seconds later to make the count 2-1. His 20th goal of the season was assisted by right wing Jonathan Cheechoo and defenseman Danny Syvret.

Grumet-Morris recorded his 18th win of the season in the Rampage victory. Bishop denied San Antonio on 29 of 31 attempts in the Rivermen loss.

The Rampage (29-22-2-1) finish a back-to-back set with Peoria tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. (CST) at Carver Arena.
