Snappers Earn Series Spilt
June 7, 2005 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Beloit Sky Carp News Release
Jeremy Pickrel went two for four with a double and three runs driven in, helping the Snappers to a 4-2 victory over the Clinton Lumberkings Tuesday night at Pohlman field. In his first start of the 2005 season, Kyle Aleston threw four and two thirds innings of shoutout baseball. The only thing keeping Aleston from earning the victory was a predetermined pitch count. However it was Jose Mijares who picked up his teammate. The southpaw complimented Aselton giving up only one run in three and two thirds innings of work.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers open a four game series in Peoria starting on Thursday. The Snappers next home game is Monday June 13th against Kane County.
