
Skyforce Acquires Returning Player Rights to Ray McCallum from Agua Caliente

SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to guard Ray McCallum from the Agua Caliente Clippers in exchange for the returning player rights to guard Rodney Purvis.
McCallum, a 6-3, 190-pound guard out of Detroit-Mercy has appeared in a total of 154 NBA games (46 starts) for the Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies. McCallum has averaged 6.0 points, 2.4 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game over the course of his NBA career.
McCallum has also appeared in 71 NBA G League games (58 starts) for the then-named Reno Bighorns, Austin Spurs, Grand Rapids Drive and most recently the Agua Caliente Clippers during the 2018-19 season. In total, McCallum has averaged 16.9 points, 5.9 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game in his G League career, highlighted by his one season Grand Rapids in which he averaged 17.6 points, 7.0 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 43 appearances.
Prior to being selected by the Sacramento Kings in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft, McCallum appeared in 102 games (101 starts) over his three-year collegiate career at Detroit-Mercy. While there, he averaged 15.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 34.5 minutes per game.
Sioux Falls takes on the Texas Legends tomorrow, Friday, February 28 in what will be a pivotal Western Conference matchup. The game can be streamed on the NBA G League website starting at 7:30 PM CT.
