Skate with the Ice Dogs players Sunday

Long Beach Ice Dogs News Release


LONG BEACH, Calif. - This Sunday, January 28th, the Long Beach Ice Dogs will be joining with fans immediately following the game in an open skate. Game time is at 5:00 versus the Victoria Salmon Kings and the first 1,000 fans will be receiving a special collector's puck. Bring your ice skates with you to the game to participate in the post-game skate. Sunday is also Heritage Night where a Polynesian Dancer will be in attendance to lead fans in a dance before the game and during intermission.

Tonight the Long Beach Ice Dogs will face off against the Victoria Salmon Kings at 7:00. This is the Ice Dogs wacky 'We Will Win Wednesday'. Should the Ice Dogs fail to pull off the victory, all fans in attendance will be invited back for a free game of their choice on January 26th, 27th, or 28th.

Friday night is Mardi Gras Night here at the Long Beach Arena where the first 1,000 fans in attendance will be receiving beads in Ice Dogs colors. Doors open at 6:00 and the $2 beer garden will be available until the puck drops at 7:30 against the Utah Grizzlies. $2 hot dogs will be available all night. A fire juggler will also be appearing at the game and will be performing before the game in the atrium then during both intermissions.

The Ice Dogs continue their four game home stand against the Grizzlies again on Saturday night at 7:00. Saturday is Gulls Retro Night where we'll be giving away a Gulls collectable item to the first 1,000 fans.
