
Sisca named to ECHL All-Rookie Team

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades forward Dan Sisca has been named to the 2005-06 ECHL All-Rookie team, the league announced today.
Sisca currently leads the Everblades in assists (50) and points (78), while his goal total of 28 is tied for the team lead. The Woodbridge, Ontario native's point total currently ranks him eighth in overall ECHL scoring, while ranking him second in ECHL rookie scoring. Entering this week's action Sisca is currently riding a three-game point-scoring streak, and has tallied a point in seven of the last eight game (7g, 4a).
Sisca, who was named to the 2006 American Conference All-Star squad, earlier this season strung together an 11-game point scoring streak from December 9 - December 30, during which he notched six goals and 15 assists. Overall this year the 22-year-old has tallied a point in 47 of the 69 games he's played in.
Prior to joining the Everblades this season Sisca spent last year in Italy where he played in 36 games with Varese HC, notching 35 points (17g, 18a) and accumulating 34 penalty minutes. Before heading overseas, Sisca spent 1999-2004 at the junior level with Owen Sound, Mississauga and Sarnia of the Ontario Hockey League. During his OHL career Sisca amassed 332 points in 314 games.

The Everblades return to action tonight against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. from the The Arena at Gwinnett Center.
