KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Everett Silvertips' resilient effort with only 16 skaters came up short in Kamloops Friday night, as the Blazers earned a 6-3 win on home ice.

Jackson Berezowski opened the scoring on the powerplay, tucking in his first of two in the game at 17:34 in the first. He was answered in short order by Olen Zellweger, wristing home his first of two at 18:09. Despite being outshot 23-7, the Silvertips entered the first intermission tied 1-1.

Berezowski redirected a Kaden Hammell shot on the powerplay at 7:49 in the second period for his second goal of the game and 42nd of the season. Kamloops again responded shortly after, as Fraser Minter potted a two-on-one goal at 9:07.

Tied at two heading into the third period, the Blazers claimed their first lead at 5:43 in the final frame, potting a powerplay goal. Kyan Grouette brought the Silvertips back even with his third goal of the season at 6:36, wiring a shot from the slot home off a saucer feed from Hammell.

Matthew Seminoff netted the game-winner for Kamloops at 11:41 in the third, his 27th of the year. Zellweger tacked on an insurance goal at 18:15 with Connor Levis adding one more at 19:57 for a 6-3 final.

Tyler Palmer turned aside 47 of 53 in the loss, his highest save total of the season and tied for third-highest of his WHL career. Dylan Ernst stopped 22 of 25 for Kamloops in the win.
