The Kelowna Rockets will have a busy weekend when they play three games in three nights. They'll kick off the weekend on Friday at 7:05 pm at home against the Vancouver Giants, they'll then head out on the road for a 7:05 pm game in Spokane on Saturday and a 4:05 pm game on Sunday in Tri-City.
The Rockets have dropped their last three games, they were last in action on Wednesday where they fell 6-2 to the Prince George Cougars. Tied at two after two periods of play, the Cougs jumped ahead with a power play goal early in the third and never looked back. Gabriel Szturc and Carson Golder were the Rockets goal scorers, while Jari Kykkanen made 41 saves on 47 shots.
Vancouver has had the week off. They handed the Victoria Royals back-to-back 4-2 losses last Friday and Saturday.
Spokane has also had the week off after a 5-4 overtime win in Prince George last Saturday. They'll host the Portland Winterhawks on Friday night before the Rockets roll into town on Saturday.
Like the other two Rockets opponents, the Americans did not have a midweek game. They'll take on the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday and then will host Portland on Saturday before Kelowna pops in on Sunday.
