Delmarva Shorebirds News Release

PREVIEW: The Shorebirds were quick out of the gates, but a trio of lefties held down the Del- marva offense in a 5-2 Intimidators' victory. Andre Wheeler, Jordan Guerrero and Ben Brewster limited the Shorebirds to just five hits all game. A couple of home runs from Jeremy Dowdy and Trey Michalczewski were enough for Kannapolis in the series opener.

TODAY'S OPPONENT: Thad Lowry will start the middle game of the three-game set. Lowry has gone 3-4 with a 4.42 ERA in eight starts for Kannapolis. The right-hander lost his only start against Delmarva, surrendering three runs (two earned) on nine hits in four innings on May 23rd.
