Savannah, Ga.- The Savannah Sand Gnats will host a spectacular post-game fireworks show on Thursday, July 3, as part of an Independence Week Celebration at Historic Grayson Stadium.

Fans can toast to America's birthday with Thirsty Thursday half-priced beer and soda specials sponsored by Budweiser, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Connect Savannah, E93, and I-95 FM.

"Our fireworks show is the best in town because ours is the only one that comes with a seat," said Sand Gnats team president John Katz. "Families have the opportunity to take in America's pastime, enjoy half-price beverages and celebrate July 4th Eve with the first place Sand Gnats."

As rivals, the Sand Gnats, a New York Mets affiliate, and the Charleston River Dogs, a New York Yankees affiliate, will continue their own Southeast subways series. The Gnats are currently 10-7 against their low country foes. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, with first pitch set for 7:05 pm.

Tickets are moving quickly, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to the game. For tickets and information, fans can call (912) 351-9150 or visit SandGnats.com.
