
Seth Fowler Rejoins Kernels; Caleb Graham to Inland Empire

Cedar Rapids, IA - The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that RHP Seth Fowler has rejoined the Kernels from Extended Spring Training and RHP Caleb Graham has been assigned to Inland Empire. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the moves on Tuesday.
Fowler was a member of the Kernels 2011 Opening Day roster and was assigned to Extended Spring Training on April 26. The Angels signed Fowler as a non-drafted free agent in 2010 and he split time last season between the AZL Angels and Orem. In five relief appearances for the Kernels this year, he has no record and an 8.44 ERA in 5.1 IP.
Graham made 18 relief appearances for the Kernels with a 1-2 record, 3.45 ERA and two saves in 31.1 IP.
Fowler will join the Kernels in Beloit, WI and be available for tonight's 5:30 pm doubleheader against the Beloit Snappers. With today's transactions, the Kernels roster stands at 25 active players, the MWL maximum, with two players currently on the disabled list.
The Kernels begin a four game, three day road trip tonight in Beloit with a doubleheader starting at 5:30 pm. They return to Perfect Game Field on Friday, July 17th and open a three game series with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to end the first half of the 2011 MWL Season.
