LANSING, Mich. - Markus Brisker homered and drove in three runs and the Lansing Lugnuts (36-26) received another masterful performance from Drew Hutchison in defeating the South Bend Silver Hawks (31-33) 6-1 on Tuesday night on Jackson Field.

Hutchison (Win, 5-2) allowed just four hits while striking out seven in six scoreless innings. The twenty-year-old right-hander has now thrown twenty-one consecutive shutout innings over his last three starts.

Brisker hit his third home run of the campaign in the first inning off South Bend starter J.R. Bradley (Loss, 2-9), and added a two-run double to lead the Lugs offensively.

Reliever Dayton Marze allowed a run in the seventh inning, but quickly regained form to finish the eighth and hand the game to Brandon Berl, who completed the ninth inning flawlessly.

Lansing will send southpaw Sean Nolin (1-1, 3.49) to face South Bend's lefty David Holmberg (6-3, 2.87) on Wednesday, June 15th, a Ladies' Night at Cooley Law School Stadium, at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.lansinglugnuts.com, at the stadium box office, and by calling 517-485-4500.
