Notes from the Nest
· Johan Astrom became the second Condor to score on a penalty shot on Friday night. Jason Ralph also scored on his chance on March 7th against Long Beach. Both goals were scored on rookie goaltender T.J. Aceti. Marc Magliarditi denied Kevin Riehl on a penalty shot back on November 7th in Las Vegas.
· Paul Rosebush's goal on Saturday created a three-way deadlock for the team's goal-scoring lead with 26. He has established a new career high with 46 points this season, eclipsing his old mark of 45 set in his rookie season in 1999-00, and continues his personal goal scoring mark.
· That same goal also gave Rosebush five game winning goals this season. He is tied for the all-time mark in team history with 18 game winners, along with Paul Willett.
· The Condors 48 shots on goal on Saturday were a season high for Bakersfield.
· Andrew Ianiero has a point in eight consecutive games, notching 2g-12a-14pts during that time.
