
Stirling Recalled To Bridgeport

Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL have announced that goaltender Scott Stirling has been recalled by Bridgeport of the American Hockey League. Stirling will report to Bridgeport immediately where he will join fellow Bullies Steve Munn and Luke Curtin who are both currently on loan.
Stirling, 26, makes his second trip to the AHL this season. The Hull, MA native was loaned to Portland through Bridgeport on February 10, and made his Pirates debut on February 13 stopping all 21 Wilkes-Barre shots in recording the shutout. Stirling spearheaded the Bullies to their 44th win of the season on Sunday making 20 saves in a 3-1 victory at Reading. He is 31-13-5 on the season with an ECHL-best 1.91 goals against average and .933% save percentage.
Stirling joins goaltender Jake Moreland (Worcester), defensemen Kirk Furey (Philadelphia), Brian Fahey (Hershey), and Munn and forwards Jim Henkel (Lowell), Sam Paolini (Rochester), Alexandre Jacques (Milwaukee) and Curtin as part of a franchise-record nine Bullies currently playing in the AHL.
With the Bullies on their way to the postseason, tickets for the 2004 ECHL Kelly Cup playoffs are on sale now. 13-game playoff packages start as low as $156. The Bullies face-off at 7PM on Tuesday against the Trenton Titans at Sovereign Bank Arena.
The Bullies return to Boardwalk Hall at 7:05PM on Wednesday to battle the Toledo Storm. Every Wednesday home game this season is a Wild Wednesday sponsored by Coors Light and Molson Canadian.
