Florida Everblades News Release
The Florida Everblades picked up four out of a possible six points this past weekend on the road after they defeated the Charlotte Checkers 7-2 on Wednesday night in Charlotte and then fell to the Roanoke Express in Roanoke 2-1 on Friday night. The Blades then finished up their three game road trip on Sunday with a 3-0 win over Greensboro. Florida ranks tied for second (80 points) in the ECHL's Southern Division with Roanoke and has 2 games remaining in the regular season. The Blades host the Augusta Lynx at TECO Arena this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM. Florida forward Brian McCullough ranks third in the ECHL in scoring with 84 points. Everblades regular season games can be heard on Sportsradio 770 AM and on the Internet at www.floridaeverblades.com, www.ABC-7.com and www.NBC-2.com with the "Voice of the Everblades" Dan Guenther calling the play-by-play. The games can be also be heard inside TECO arena on 96.5 FM. 'Blade Talk' presented by Stevie Tomato's Sportspage on Sportsradio 770 AM airs from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Monday nights. The show will be live on remote at the Fort Myers location tonight with the entire Everblades team.

GAME NOTES: This will be the fifth meeting between the two clubs this season. The Everblades are 3-1-0 versus the Lynx this year. Florida upended the Lynx 5-2 at TECO Arena back on March 2nd. The Lynx are currently ranked 6th in the Central division and have been eliminated from the Kelly Cup playoff race.
Saturday, April 3rd vs. Augusta Lynx 7:30 PM/EST
GAME NOTES: This will be the sixth and final meeting of the regular season between the two clubs. Each fan will receive a treat bag from the Blades sponsors and will be eligible to win others prizes throughout the night as the Blades host Fan Appreciation Night at TECO Arena.

The Florida Everblades (34-24-10) defeated the Charlotte Checkers (31-28-8) 7-2 in front of 3,947 at Cricket Arena on Wednesday night. Florida forward Brian McCullough picked up two goals and one assist and forwards Keith Anderson, Reggie Berg and Damian Surma notched one goal and one assist each in the Blades victory.
Friday, March 26th @ Roanoke Express 1-2 L
The Florida Everblades (34-25-10) were defeated by the Roanoke Express (34-26-8) 2-1 in front of 2,877 at the Roanoke Civic Center on Friday night.
Sunday, March 28th @ Greensboro Generals 3-0 W
The Florida Everblades (35-25-10) defeated the Greensboro Generals (34-27-8) 3-0 in front of 4,586 at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex on Sunday afternoon. Florida goaltender Jeff Maund stopped all 30 shots he faced and picked up his fourth shutout of the season.
