Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ – With their magic number at 10, the Titans looked to pull closer in their quest for a spot in the Kelly Cup playoffs. The Titans began the week with a two-game series at Sovereign Bank Arena against the Greensboro Generals.

On Thursday night, the Titans seemingly had the game in hand, up 4-2 against the Generals in the second period. Greensboro, however, would score 4 unanswered goals to steal one from the Titans 6-4 and snap the Titans seven-game home winning streak.

The Titans would redeem themselves the following night as they tied their season high for goals scored in an 8-1 romp of the Generals. Bryce Cockburn netted the natural hat trick in the first period to lead the way.
