Season Ticket Holders Get Rewards For Referrals

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today introduced the team's new Season Ticket Referral Program. Current Full Season Ticket Plan Holders and TOTALchoice Flex Plan holders who have renewed their tickets plans for the 2008-09 season will receive cash rewards when persons referred by them purchase a Royals' Full Season Ticket or a TOTALchoice Flex Plan. Specifically, the referring STH will receive one dollar ($1.00) for each ticket purchased under a Royals season ticket package by a newly referred patron. By way of example, if the newly referred patron purchases one Full Season Ticket, the referring STH would receive $37.00. If the newly referred patron purchases five 10-Game TOTALchoice Flex Plans, the referring STH would receive $50.00.

To be eligible, the referring 2008-09 STH must have renewed the same (or an expanded) ticket plan held during the 2007-08 season and the newly referred patron's ticket account with the Royals must be paid in full. The referring STH can elect to receive his or her monetary rewards as cash (payable after the 2008-09 Season Opener) or as a credit towards purchases of merchandise at the Royals' Fan -Attic store. The Royals return to action tonight (March 14; 7:35 pm) at First Arena in Elmira, New York, where the team will take on the Elmira Jackals. Reading returns home on Saturday night (7:05 pm) when the Wheeling Nailers visit the Sovereign Center on "St. Hat Trick's Night". On Saturday, the first 2000 fans will receive a green Royals/St. Patrick's Day hat. The Royals will also wear special St. Hat Trick's Day/Berks Jazz Fest Jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds going to support the Berks County Arts Council. The game night broadcast on Friday night will begin at 7:05 pm with the pre-game warm-up show on ESPN Radio 1240 am in Ephrata, as well as on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com. Streaming video is available on a pay per view basis through the B2 Networks.
