Oren Eizenman won a face-off in the Stockton zone, and Ramsay picked up the loose puck on the side wall, skated to the hash marks, and beat Fisher with a backhand shot high to the glove side for his 16th goal of the season.

But, the Falcons scored a power-play goal of their own at 18:04 to regain the lead. Daryl Marcoux moved the puck to Leisenring, who quickly hit Prudden in the left-wing circle, and Prudden snapped a shot beyond Fisher's reach to give Fresno a 3-2 lead after two periods.

Stockton tied the game again 2:31 into the third period. Mayotte stopped Ryan MacMurchy's shot from the right-wing side, but the rebound settled on Frederik Johansson's stick, and he beat Mayotte from the left-wing side for his third goal of the year.
