
Sea Dogs 4th of July Game on as Scheduled, Fireworks Rescheduled

Portland, Maine- The Portland Sea Dogs game against the New Britain Rock Cats scheduled for 6:00 PM on Friday, July 4th at Hadlock Field is currently on as scheduled. The Fourth of July post-game fireworks show, presented by Bill Dodge Auto Group, has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 5th at Hadlock Field when the Sea Dogs take on the Rock Cats at 6:00 PM.
The Sea Dogs will permit fans with tickets to the July 4th game to exchange their tickets for tickets of equal or lesser value to the Saturday, July 5th game, based upon availability. Anyone interested in exchanging their tickets to the July 5th game, should contact the Sea Dogs Ticket Office at 207-879-9500 or tickets@seadogs.com to make arrangements.
"After reviewing all of the weather forecasts for the Fourth of July, we felt we owed it to our dedicated fans to make a proactive decision regarding the fireworks show, knowing many people have plans for the holiday weekend," stated Sea Dogs General Manager Geoff Iacuessa. "We have numerous obligations to make every effort to play the game, we will continue to monitor the weather and make a decision at a later time regarding the status of Friday's baseball game. We remain hopeful that we will be able to play."
The Portland Sea Dogs currently own the best record in the Eastern League at 56-28. The Sea Dogs are scheduled to be at Hadlock Field for a three game homestand against the Rock Cats from Friday, July 4th through Sunday, July 6th.
