The Sea Dogs wrap up their 8-game roadtrip on Thursday night against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) at Arm & Hammer Park.

NEWS AND NOTES

CALLING IT A WRAP : The Sea Dogs close out their 8-game roadtrip on Thursday night against the Trenton Thunder (Yankees affiliate) at Arm & Hammer Park...Portland is a combined 15-4 on their last two roadtrips and holds a league-best 30-15 on the road...With last night's win, Portland is 28 games over .500 for the first time since 1995...The 'Dogs return home tomorrow to start a three-game series against the New Britain Rock Cats - the fireworks show has been rescheduled to July 5.

CC FALLS TO SEA DOGS : Portland scored five times off CC Sabathia and beat the Thunder 8-6 on Wednesday night (game featured a 1 hour and 41 minute rain delay)...Sabathia took the loss, making his first MLB Rehab start with Trenton...RHP Wilfredo Boscan (1-2) earned his first win with Portland, retiring the final 10 batters faced...The Thunder scored five times off RHP Michael Olmsted in the fifth inning on one hit and walks...Boscan allowed a single to the first batter faced, but induced a double play to end the fifth...RHP Noe Ramirez got a 6-4-3 double play to end the game, and picked up his 9th save of the season.
