SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Ever since the Schaumburg Boomers brand identity and logo wereintroduced in October, all the hard work and planning of the Boomers front office was directed toward the paramount fan experience at every Boomers game. The time has finally come for Chicagoland to see the fruits of this labor on Friday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The gates at Boomers Stadium will open for the very first time at 5:30 p.m. (5:15 for Season Ticket Holders) and all the details will be taken care of. The park will be in pristine condition, inflatables all set-up in Coop's Kids Corner, the turnstiles will be in place, stadium music queued up, the lineup board will be filled in, the standings board as well (the Boomers hopefully still with a stranglehold on first place) and most importantly, our staff will have on their best customer service faces as we welcome you into our family for the firsttime.

The Boomers have a jam-packed weekend of fun and a few special events on tap for an epic start to an epic season!
Friday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. - Inaugural Opening Night presented bythe Daily Herald with Post-Game Fireworks
The Boomers will power on their brand-new HD Videoboard for the first-time during a special pre-game ceremony. The first 4,000 fans entering the park will snag a free Inaugural T-Shirt, courtesy of Kia Motors; Wintrust Community Banks; Salvi Schostok & Pritchard, P.C.; and ATI Physical Therapy. The first 1,500 fans will also receive a Boomers Magnet Schedule, courtesy of Magnet Street. Stick around for the best post-game fireworks show in the business, featuring the incredible work of Melrose Pyrotechnics! Before the game, Boomers players and coaches will be introduced to their home crowd for the first time on the field. The Boomers encourage fans to wear orange as we attempt to "Orange Out" the Stadium on Opening Night! Fans will have their first chance to witness the unique brand of fun and entertainment that is Boomers Baseball! After the game, EVERYONE has the opportunity to run the bases presented by Sonic Drive-Ins.
Saturday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m. - Kobayashi Appearance and Prairie Chicken Foam Helmet Giveaway (First 1,500 Fans)
Special Guest, Takeru Kobayashi, visits Boomers Stadium and will give a demonstration of his speed-eating prowess! To honor our special guest, the Boomers and Levy are proud to offer $1 hot dogs all night long! The first 1,500 fans to enter the stadium on this night will receive a free foam prairie chicken helmet, courtesy of Salvi Schostok & Pritchard, P.C. The first 1,500 fans will also receive a Boomers Magnet Schedule, courtesy of Magnet Street. After the game, EVERYONE has the opportunity to run the bases presented by Sonic Drive-Ins.
Sunday, May 27 at 6:30 p.m. - Extra-Special Post-Game Fireworks & Military Appreciation!
It won't happen again this season so make sure you stop by for the second fireworks night during the same weekend series! Melrose Pyrotechnics puts on one a heck of show so make sure the whole family joins us on this night (remember you probably get to sleep in the next day!) Join us for a Memorial weekend celebration as we honor all those who served and are currently serving in our nation's military. We will ask all those who have fought for our freedom to take the field for the National Anthem, as well as help us to dedicate our flagpole before the game. After the game, EVERYONE has the opportunity to run the bases presented by Sonic Drive-Ins.
