Saturday, Dec. 8 vs. Iowa Stars

After having a week off, the Rampage will host the Iowa Stars for a two-game series ... San Antonio is 3-1-0-0 after four meetings this year ... The Rampage won the previous meeting, a 4-3 OT victory in Iowa on Nov. 13 ... David Spina scored his second goal of the game with 37 seconds left in overtime to give the Rampage the win and stop Iowa's four-game win streak ... Joel Perrault also scored two assists.

This will be the sixth meeting (of eight) this season between the two teams ... San Antonio is 10-13-0-1 all-time against Iowa ... The Rampage have out-scored the Dallas Stars affiliate 16-8 prior to this weekend's series ... Matt Murley and Chris Durno join Spina and Perrault as the team's top scorers against Iowa with four points each ... The last time Iowa visited the AT&T Center, the Rampage took a commanding 7-1 decision setting a season-high for most goals scored in a single game.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT
BAKERS DOZEN: The Rampage picked up their 13th win of the season by beating Grand Rapids 4-1 on Friday. It came on their 24th game of the season. Last season, San Antonio didn't win their 13th game until their 35th game (Jan. 4, 2007).
NOVEMBER TO REMEMBER: The team had their best November in team history after going 8-4-1-1 (18 pts). The previous best was their 4-3-5-2 record (15 pts) set during their inaugural 2002-03 season.
FOUR SCORE: San Antonio is 10-2-1-1 when they score four goals or more. The team suffered their first regulation loss when hitting the four-goal plateau on Nov. 27 in a 5-4 loss to Milwaukee, then fell 6-5 to Peoria on Saturday.

STRONG DEFENSE MEANS WINS: The Rampage are 13-2-0-0 when allowing three goals or less. Ten times in 25 games this season San Antonio has allowed the opposition two goals or less and the Rampage are a perfect 10-0-0-0 when doing so.
GOAL ORIENTED: The Rampage lead the league with 88 goals scored.
