Wolf Pack make roster moves

HARTFORD, December 3, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Matt Zaba from the Wolf Pack to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, and that the Pack have returned forward Mark Lee and defenseman Ryan Constant on loan to Charlotte.

Zaba, a rookie out of Colorado College, has yet to play in a game with the Wolf Pack, but has served as the Pack's backup for six contests. He has played in four ECHL games with the Checkers, compiling a 3-1-0 record with a 3.52 goals-against average and an 89.1% save percentage.

Lee, a fourth-year pro, has skated in 10 games with the Pack and has chipped in two assists, while picking up four penalty minutes. In two games with Charlotte, he struck for 2-3-5 with two penalty minutes.

Constant, in his second year as a pro, has scored one goal and served four minutes in penalties in seven games with the Wolf Pack. In four ECHL games with the Checkers, he has totaled 1-1-2 with six penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack return to action this Wednesday night, December 5th, with a visit to first-place Providence for a 7:05 game. On Friday night, the Pack have a Guida's Family Value Night home date with Lowell at 7:00.
