Rewind the Tape:

11.30.07 - Worcester 2- Hartford 4 - DCU Center

The Sharks allowed three power play goals to fall to the Wolf Pack 4-2. Lukas Kaspar and Mike Iggulden scored for the Sharks. Thomas Greiss made 29 saves in net for Worcester in his first game back after having been re-assigned by the San Jose Sharks.

12.01.07 - Worcester 3 - Portland 6 - Cumberland County Civic Center

The Sharks fell behind 3-0 halfway through the hockey game and could not recover as Worcester dropped their second straight game. Riley Armstrong, Patrick Traverse, and Dan Spang scored for the Sharks. Thomas Greiss made 25 saves in net. The Sharks are 1-2-1-0 vs. Portland this season in the battle for the Unum Cup. With the loss, the Sharks dropped below .500 for the first time this season.

Sharks swimming upstream:

The Sharks (8-9-1-1) sit in 7th place in the Atlantic Division, eight points behind the Pirates for 4th place in the division. The Sharks trail the Providence Bruins by 18 points for the top spot in the Atlantic.

Sharks Bites:

* F Mike Iggulden is tops on the team with 11 goals, 11 assists, and 22 points (11-11-22) and leads the Sharks with 46 shots on goal.

* The Sharks have recorded 18 fighting majors in 19 games this season.

* F Tom Cavanagh leads the Sharks with 5 PPG's

* Rookie Defenseman Derek Joslin leads Sharks D-Men with eight points (1-7-8).

* D Brad Staubitz is 5th in the AHL with 76 penalty minutes.

*Thomas Greiss Mask Auction - $4,901.02!

The Pink Mask worn by Thomas Greiss in the months of October and November was auctioned of via www.nhl.com. The Pink Mask received over 30 bids during the one week auction and the highest bid for the mask was $4,901.02! Greiss wore the Pink Mask in October and November to generate awareness for breast cancer. All proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge of Worcester.

Coming Up:

The Sharks host two games this weekend at the DCU Center.

On Friday, the Manchester Monarchs come to town at 7:05p.m. on "Karaoke Night." The Salter School of Massage Therapy will be offering free massages on the concourse during the game as well. The game will be televised live on Charter's Channel 3.

On Saturday, the Sharks host the Hartford Wolf Pack on "Teddy Bear Toss Night." Fans are encouraged to bring a new Teddy Bear to throw on the ice after the Sharks score their first goal of the hockey game. The Teddy Bears will be donated to Project Smile. Sharks players will sign autographs as part of "Saturday Night Signings."
