Salmon Kings add University Forward to the roster

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings announced today the signing of Chip Dunleavy from Littleton, Colorado.

Dunleavy, 23, played a combined 79 games over four seasons with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugold, including the 2005/2006 season.

In his Freshman year, Dunleavy earned 15 points in 22 games. Despite a record of 2-21-4, Dunleavy leads the Blugold in points this season with 13 goals and four assists (17 points) in 27 games. Overall, he has tallied 28 goals (13 power play goals) and 27 assists for 55 points in his University career.

The 6-foot-2, 200-lb Foward joins the Salmon Kings in his first ECHL experience.

The Salmon Kings start a three week home run on Friday February 24 versus the Alaska Aces at 7:00 p.m.
