Upcoming week of January 5th - January 11th
Wednesday, January 7th - Bakersfield Condors goalies, Joe Watkins and Shane Bendera, will be attending Highland Elementary's Classroom Champions assembly beginning at 1:00 pm. The Condors Classroom Champions program awards students for outstanding attendance as well as good behavior. Condors Classroom Champions is sponsored by 29 Eyewitness News and McDonald's. Highland Elementary School is located at 2900 Barnett Street.
Thursday, January 8th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select for the Condors Coach's Show from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. This week's guests include center Paul Willett and Head Coach Paul Kelly. The Condors Coach's Show is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite players as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230.
Saturday, January 10th - Join Condors players and Colonel Claw'd at Houchin Blood Bank's Truxtun branch Saturday for the KUZZ 107.9 Blood Drive from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. KUZZ will also be broadcasting live from 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Fans that donate one pint of blood during the blood drive, which runs January 5th - February 3rd, will receive a voucher for a $1.00 Terrace level ticket to Tuesday, February 3rd's game against the Fresno Falcons. Houchin Blood Bank has two locations, 2600 G Street and 5901 Truxtun Avenue.
Saturday, January 10th - Join the Condors as they host the Idaho Steelheads for KGET-TV 17, KUZZ 107.9 & Krispy Kreme Player Rubber Duck Giveaway. The first 2,000 children, 12 and under, will receive a Rubber Duck of Condors center Kevin Riehl. Saturday's game begins at 7:00pm with the doors opening at 6:00pm.
Sunday, January 11th - The Condors welcome the Texas Wildcatters as K-Lite 105.3 & American Business Machines present the "Black Gold" Jersey Off Our Back Raffle & Auction. Special oil theme jerseys representing Bakersfield's oil-rich history will be auctioned off after the game, plus everyone in attendance has a chance to win one of five jerseys to be given away! All proceeds for the jersey auction will be donated to the Petroleum Shrine Club Charities. Also, 101.5 KGFM & Holiday Inn Select host DARE Night. Students graduating from the DARE program received complimentary admission to the game. The doors open at 6:00pm and the puck drops at 7:00pm.
Tickets to all Condors home games can be purchased at the Centennial Garden box office, open from 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturdays, with extended hours on event days (opens at noon on Sunday). Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
