Reading Royals News Release
Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will host the second Road Warriors' bus trip of the season-The Expedition to Elmira II-presented by Classic Harley Davidson on February 14, 2009, when the Royals will take on the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York at 7:35 pm. The Royals seek to avenge the result in last year's Expedition to Elmira, when the Jackals scored four first period goals on their way to a 5-2 win over Reading on February 2, 2008. The cost of the Road Warriors Expedition To Elmira II is $45.00 which includes roundtrip bus transportation, a ticket to the game, and a limited edition Road Warriors' t-shirt. The cost of the trip is just $30.00 for fans who participated in the Fourth Annual Trek To Trenton earlier this season.
The luxurious buses provided by Carl Bieber Tourways will depart from the Fairgrounds Square Mall parking lot (past J.C. Penney's near the Farmer's Market) at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 14. Fans can choose between buses on which adult beverages will be permitted (although not served), and those that will be more family oriented. Road Warriors are permitted to bring a lap-sized cooler on the bus; but it is important to note that no alcoholic beverages will be permitted on the non-drinking buses. Reservations must be made by February 6 and can be secured with cash or credit card at the Royals office (645 Penn Street, 3rd Floor). More information on The Expedition To Elmira II is available on the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com.
The Royals return to action tomorrow night (January 24 @ 7:05 pm) when the Wheeling Nailers visit the Sovereign Center. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website.
