Rob LaLonde Returned To Reading

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Rob LaLonde has been returned from the Iowa Chops of the AHL to the Royals. In his most recent stint in the AHL, LaLonde's second this year in Iowa, LaLonde played six games with the Chops and did not register any points, while picking up six penalty minutes. In twenty games with the Royals this year, LaLonde has scored a goal, assisted on nine others (ten points), and has registered thirty-five penalty minutes.

The Royals return to action tomorrow night (Saturday, January 24 @ 7:05 pm) when the Wheeling Nailers visit the Sovereign Center. Saturday's game will be broadcast live on the Royals Radio Network Presented by Transmissions by Arbogast (True Oldies WRAW 1340 am in Reading; and The Ticket WLAN 1390 am in Lancaster), as well as on the internet via webcast hosted by Sportsjuice.com, which can be accessed through the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com.
