Royals Launch All-Star Mini-Bobblehead Series on Sunday

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization and All-Star Distributing have joined forces to present a series of four mini-bobbleheads honoring former all-stars over the course of this season in which Reading will host the 2009 ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition. The All Star Mini-Bobblehead Series will kick off this Sunday (November 16, 5:05 pm) when the Royals face the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Sovereign Center. The mini-bobblehead that day, which will be distributed to the first 1500 fans in attendance who are twenty-one years of age or older, will resemble the likeness of former Royal and ECHL All-Star Greg Hogeboom.

The other mini-bobbleheads in the All-Star Series will be: (i) David Masse (LaBatt Blue) (January 17, 2009 v. Trenton Devils); (ii) T.J. Kemp (Yuengling) (March 6, 2009 v. Cincinnati Cyclones); and (iii) Jon Francisco (Coors Light) (March 25, 2009 v. Elmira Jackals). Each of the mini-bobbleheads in the All-Star Series will be distributed to the first 1500 fans in attendance at the appropriate games who are twenty-one years of age or older.

The Royals take on the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York on Tuesday, November 11 (7:05 pm). Fans can watch the game via streaming internet video on the B2 Networks free of charge at the Royals' "Viewing Party," which will be held at The Works at Wyomissing (1109 Bern Road, Wyomissing, PA; 610-375-2700) on Tuesday.
