Trenton Sends Trio to Lowell

TRENTON, N.J. (November 10, 2008) - The ECHL's Trenton Devils have announced that forwards Tyler Burton, Eric Castonguay and Trevor Kell have been recalled to the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League.

The trio join goaltender Jeff Frazee and forward Thomas Harrison in Lowell after playing together in Trenton earlier in the season.

Burton returns to Lowell after playing six games there last season. Burton notched a goal and an assist in his first professional game with Lowell. The native of Vancouver, B.C. has six points (3g-3a) in ten games with Trenton this season.

Castonguay, a 21 year-old left winger, is currently leading Trenton with 14 points (5g-9a) in 10 games. A member of the 2007 QMJHL Lewiston MAINEiacs, he is riding a nine-game point-scoring streak and was a runner-up for ECHL Player of the Week for the week of October 27 to November 2.

Last season, Castonguay led Trenton with 47 points. He previously played in Lowell towards the end of last season, appearing in two games.

Rounding out the Trenton call-ups is Kell, who had seven points in nine games with Lowell last season, including points in his first five AHL games. This season with Trenton, Kell has five goals and eight points in 10 games.
