ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades finished off the past week by winning three games against the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Blades enter this week's riding a four-game winning streak and a record, 6-2-1 (13pts., 1st South Division).

THIS WEEK (All Times Eastern)

Friday & Saturday, November 14 & 15 vs. Augusta Lynx 7:30 p.m. (Both Games)

GAME NOTES: The Everblades will look to extend their winning streak when they welcome the Lynx in for a pair of games this weekend. The two games are the first two of 12 between the South Division rivals and the first two of four between the teams at Germain Arena. Last season the Everblades were 4-3-0 vs. Augusta including going 2-1-0 at home vs. the Lynx. The Everblades rivalry with the Lynx is the third longest in the team's history with the clubs having met 73 times over the past 10 years. Florida holds an all-time record of 51-16-6 vs. Augusta and is 27-6-3 at home all-time vs. the Lynx. The Lynx enter this week's action with a record of 5-4-1 (11 pts., T-3rd, South Division)

On Wednesday, November 12 Everblades players will be appearing at Manatee Elementary School to meet and talk with the kids from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Monday, November 3 at Gwinnett Gladiators 6-2 Win

The Everblades began the week by ending their first road trip of the year with a 6-2 win at Gwinnett on Monday night. The Everblades scored three times on the power play and added a short-handed marker to help record their second straight win. Kevin Baker and Ryan Lang each scored two goals while Ernie Hartlieb and Mathieu Roy provided the other two goals. In net rookie David Leggio picked up the win by stopping a career-high 49 shots, including making 21 saves in the third period. Florida Special Teams: PP: 3-of -9; PK: 10-of-11.

Friday, November 7 vs. Gwinnett Gladiators 3-1 Win

The Everblades ran their win streak to three with a 3-1 victory over the Gladiators on Friday night at Germain Arena. All the scoring took place in the second period with the Everblades collecting goals from Yannick Tifu, Danick Bouchard and Mathieu Roy. In goal Anton Khudobin impressed, stopping 37 of 38 shots for the win. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-of-2; PK: 7-of-8.

Saturday, November 8 vs. Gwinnett Gladiators 4-0 Win

The Everblades recorded their first shutout of the season on Saturday night at Germain Arena. Goaltender Anton Khudobin stopped all 38 shots he faced to win his fourth straight game. Offensively Jonathan Paiement, Colin Nicholson, Michael Grenzy and Kevin Baker all scored. Florida Special Teams: PP: 0-of-5; PK: 6-of-6.

Player of the Week Nominees: This week's Everblades Player of the Week nominee is Kevin Baker who tallied recorded seven points (3g, 4a) and was a plus-6 in three games this past week. The Everblades Goaltender of the Week nominee is Anton Khudobin who was 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a shutout in his two starts this weekend.

Special Teams Breakdown: Here's a look at the special teams of the Everblades and how it breaks down overall, home and away: Power play: 12-of-62 (19.4%) which ranks the Everblades 8th in the ECHL. At home the Everblades are 4-of-41 (9.8%) which ranks 23rd. On the road the Everblades are 8-of-21 (38.1%) which ranks 1st in the league. Penalty Kill: 62-of-70 (88.6%) which ranks the Everblades 3rd in the ECHL. At home the 'Blades are 40-of-46 (87.0%) which is 11th. On the road the Everblades have killed off 22-of-24 (91.7%) which ranks 3rd in the league.

Who's Hot: Here's a look at who's been playing well for the Everblades of late: Forward Ernie Hartlieb has points in eight of the first nine games this season (4g, 6a)...forward Ryan Lang has three goals and an assist in the last four games...forward Ross Carlson has the longest current points scoring streak on the team having notched point in seven straight contests (3g, 5a) and points in eight of the first nine games...forward Kevin Baker has nine points in the last four games and has tallied a point in five of the last seven (5g, 6a)...after losing his first start, goaltender Anton Khudobin has won four straight games with a shutout.

PK is OK!: The Everblades' penalty killers have been strong all season long, but has been nearly impenetrable over the last four games. During that span, the Everblades have been short-handed 30 times, but have only allowed two goals for a penalty killing percentage of 93.

Road Update: The Everblades returned from their first road trip of the season on Monday. Although it was a short one, two games at South Carolina and one game at Gwinnett, the Everblades completed it by picking up five of a possibly six points. After suffering a 3-2 overtime loss in the first game of the trip at South Carolina, the Everblades bounced back with a 5-2 win at South Carolina and a 6-2 win at Gwinnett. The big test for the Everblades on the road will come in their next road trip which is a nine-game trek to the North Division that spans 17 days from Nov. 20 - Dec. 6.

Milestone Reached: Everblades forward Ross Carlson is currently riding a career-high seven-game point scoring streak. During that span the Duluth, Minnesota native has tallied eight points (3g, 5a). His previous career-high points streak came last season with Texas when he recorded a point in six straight games.

Upcoming Milestones: Here are some milestones that Everblades players could reach this upcoming season: Forward Kevin Baker is one goal shy of recording his 100th career goal and is one point away from reaching 200 in his career...forward Ross Carlson is 19 games away from his 100th career game played...forward Ernie Hartlieb is 31 games shy of his 500th career game...forward Brad Herauf is 31 games away from playing in his 300th career game...forward Ryan Lang finds himself 29 points away from the 200 point mark in his career...forward Mark Lee is 35 games away from the 300...forward Colin Nicholson is one game away from reaching the century mark...defenseman Kyle Peto needs to play in 28 games to hit 100 in his career...forward Mathieu Roy will hit the 100 games played mark in his career with 20 games played...defenseman A.J. Thelen will also reach the 100 games played milestone by playing in 27 more games.

On TV!: The Everblades' game on Saturday, November 15 will be televised live locally on MY TV-8. The game vs. Augusta begins at 7:30 p.m. and will also be featured at a later date on the NHL Network as the ECHL Game of the Week.

Everblades Coach's Show!: The Everblades coach's show "Blades Talk!" holds it's next show on Tuesday, November 11 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.!
