The Kelowna Rockets came back from a two-goal deficit to down the Swift Current Broncos 6-3 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place.
Scoreless heading into the final minutes of the first period, the Broncos were able to break free with two quick goals to hold a 2-0 lead through the opening frame. Kelowna charged back in the second, scoring four unanswered goals. Swift Current made it a one-goal game in the third period, but the Rockets were able to post two empty net goals.
Andrew Cristall recorded four assists, while Gabriel Szturc posted two goals and an assist. Jari Kykkanen made 28 saves on 31 shots.

GAME SUMMARY
Josh Fluker's(1) power play goal put the Broncos on the board first late in the opening frame. Just under a minute later, in the final seconds of the period, Clarke Caswell (2) pushed Swift Current out to a two-goal lead.
Max Graham (1) chased down Andrew Cristall's blind pass to find the back of the net for the first time this season. Tij Iginla's (9) initial shot was blocked, but he reloaded and tied the game on the power play. Gabriel Szturc's (2) power play one-timer gave the Rockets the first lead of the game, 1:40 later Szturc (3) added his second of the night.
With the puck sitting on the goal line Tyson Laventure (3) jammed it past to pull the Bronco's within one just past the midway point of the third frame.
Dylan Wightman (5) was credited with a goal after he lost the faceoff to the Broncos, their defenceman missed the pass from down low and the puck slid all the way down the ice into their own net. Graham (2) was hauled down charging towards the empty net but was able to put the puck away for his second of the night.

UP NEXT
The Rockets will head down to Tri-City to face the Americans on Friday, they'll then head back to Kelowna for a Saturday matchup against the Vancouver Giants. Saturday's game is the annual Hershey Candy Scramble game, kids ten and under will be invited onto the ice surface during one of the intermissions to gather candies from Hershey's. The game will also feature a live band, the Dirt Road Kings, playing throughout the game.
